International Yoga Day Celebration

The fifth International Yoga Day, was celebrated with full enthusiasm and energy at the Institute. It was a two hours’ session from the Brahamkumari’s.Sister Ruchi from the Indore Chapter talked about Raja Yoga meditation. Raja Yoga meditation is practiced with ‘open eyes’, which makes this method of meditation versatile, simple and easy to practice. She also Emphasized upon, Spiritual awareness which gives us the power to choose good and positive thoughts over those which are negative and wasteful.Mr.Amit an Entrepreneur by Profession and Disciple of Brahmkumari’s stated the Importance of the foods we eat, how much we eat and how fast we eat it. Meat is loaded with hormones that the body doesn’t need. Alcohol can have more damaging consequences than we might imagine. Slow food is one option. A plant based diet places lighter loads on body organs and save lives. The guests were presented by sapling and memento as a token of gratitude from Faculty Members.
