The concept of incorporating IT technologies into the classroom to produce a more engaging, inclusive, and personalized learning environment is known as ED-Tech. During the coronavirus epidemic, the EdTech industry is a bright light in the job market. As a result, the EdTech industry will flourish throughout the crisis and beyond.
Jaipuria School of Business organized a Guest Lecture on “EdTech- The New Job Market for B-school Students.” on February 26, 2022, by Mr. Jatin Agnihotri from Extra Marks.
Dr. Tapan Kumar Nayak, Director, Jaipuria School of Business, Ghaziabad started the session by acknowledging the expert’s contribution to enriching the students of JSB. He said, ” The sector we will discuss today is the EdTech sector. It came out as an emerging end to support and guide higher education.” Moving forward, Mr. Agnihotri started the session by introducing extra marks. He also covered the EdTech industry and the requirements to get on board in the current ED- Tech profile.
Mr. Agnihotri started the session with a presentation on ” Intro AV complete learning Solution.” Mr. Agnihotri gave an overview of the education technology sector. He said, ” The current market size is about $3 billion. The demand for the Ed-Tech industry and related services has grown by about 140 percent over the past 14 months. Online education programs for classes 1 to 12 can increase 6.3 times by 2024 from the base of 2021.”
Mr. Agnihotri also talked about the history of Extramarks, and he also spoke about how extra marks drive the problem statements and what makes Extra Marks stand out in the Ed-Tech industry. He also introduces the founder and the chairman of Extra Mark ” MR. Atul Kulshrestha ”
He also spoke about the vision and mission of extra marks. He said, ” We try to make technology-based education easy, interactive, effective, and accessible for every learner through our comprehensive learning solutions. We aim to create a very interesting, knowledgeable, and application-oriented topic and then provide it to the students to relate the things in real life. Our mission is to make learning interesting and fun.” Mr. Agnihotri also explained the business model. Students also asked some fascinating question and all their queries were the answer.
