Books – The CFLL has highly selective collection of over 11358 books, in the area of Management and related Subjects.

Journals and E- Journals – The CFLL Subscribes to 37 print Journals specific to the academic and research needs of the Jaipuria School of Business community. Besides there are over 18000 e-journals available in full text through the online databases Subscribed by the CFLL.

Magazines – The CFLL has 13 magazines hard copy and soft copy.

J-Gate is an electronic gateway to global e-journal literature. Launched in 2001 by Informatics India Limited, J-Gate provides seamless access to millions of journal articles available online offered by 9363 Publishers. It presently has a massive database of journal literature, indexed from 28846 e-journals with links to full text at publisher sites. J-Gate also provides full text of free journals available through various sources other than the bibliographical services.

Business Source Elite provides full text coverage for over 1,000 business publications and economics journals, including nearly 500 peer-reviewed publications. Green File offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on the environmental effects of individuals, corporations and local/national governments, and what can be done at each level to minimize these effects. Multidisciplinary by nature, Green FILE draws on the connections between the environment and a variety of disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology. Topics covered include global climate change, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. Research Starters – Business is database of study and research guides designed specifically for advanced high school students, college students and selected graduate students. They consist of comprehensive, yet concise topic summary articles of about 3,000 words in length written by researchers, scholars and other subject matter experts. Topics parallel course offerings at major colleges and universities in the subject areas covered. These articles are designed to be starting points for students, providing them with topic overviews, definitions of relevant terms and concepts, detailed bibliographies, and importantly, links to top articles from the relevant EP database(s). Research Starters supplements textbooks and other materials with current and focused topic overviews, assisting students in undertaking their assignments and research successfully.

JSB Library Rules

Entitlement and period of issue

 User Text Books Reference Material
Regular Faculty 10 books for a period of 30 days 5 books / periodicals / CDs 15 days (for books.),
7 days(for periodicals) & 2days (for CDs).
However, periodicals Older then 3 latest issues will only be issued
Visiting Faculty 2 books for a period 15 days
Research scholar/Alumni 2 books for 15 days
Staff Members 2books for a period of 15 days
Students 4 books for PGDM students for a period of 15 days.

Library Timings

  • Library remains open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on all working days excluding the declared holiday.
  • Books are issued and received back from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.

Circulation & Fine

  • Borrowing facilities are available to the member of the Library against Library card to them. Books are issued through the counter on presenting the Library card. The borrower card is nontransferable.
  • The holder of the card is responsible for any issued against his/her card as per the library record.
  • New arrivals of the books and new edition to library Magazines/Journal will be kept on display in the display shelf, afterwards it will be available for borrowing as per rules. This list is also e-mailed to all faculty members each month.
  • New additions can only be issued after technical processing (Accessioning, classification, cataloguing and clearance of bills) has been completed.
  • For renewing, it is necessary that the book be presented at the counter renewal is not automatic. If there is a pending demand for the book, the request for renewing may not be accepted by the library.
  • If any document is available as single copy, the same will not be issued and can only be consulted with in the library.
  • If a book is not returned within the stipulated time the student will be charged a penalty of Rs.5/- per day per volume. The fine should be paid at the Library Book Return Counter and a valid receipt should be obtained.
  • Newspapers are not allowed to be taken out of the library.
  • The librarian can refuse to issue fresh books to those possessing books which are already overdue.
  • If a member loses a book issued against his/her card, the penalty will be as follows:
  1. He/she will have to replace the book lost by a new copy of the latest edition. In addition, he/she will pay the late fine on the book, if any.
  2. If the book is not easily available in the market, then the member would pay double the current cost of the book, or the cost at which the book was procured, whichever is higher.
