Dr. Lalit Sharma is an academician, trainer and consultant, carrying an overall 22 years of rich experience in the domain of Business Analytics and Information Systems. Presently he is acting as Area Chair- Business Analytics in Jaipuria School of Business. He has done his PhD in Data Mining. He has been actively involved in curriculum development/iteration, Technology infusion, NAAC and NBA accreditation documentation and instructional design processes. He has been associated with Internal Quality Assurance(IQAC) by analyzing effectiveness of teaching material and methodology. He has also been involved in Digital Integration in learning (Implementing MOODLE, OLT-ERP and Impartus-LMS systems), evaluating technology-rich teaching and learning. He has played a vital role in collaboration with leaders and pioneers in education sector. He has been the controller of Examination for over a decade and contributed by developing a sustainable structure to align the evaluation process with learning outcomes of the programme.
His interests lie in the domain of Business Analytics and Business Intelligence, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, E-Commerce, Advanced Excel, Predictive Analytics and MIS. He is actively involved in the process development of training modules and conducting MDPs and FDPs. To his MDP/Training endeavors, he has conducted numerous sessions on topics like; Predictive Analysis for Aviation Mapping, Digital literacy, Disruptive Technologies, Advanced Excel, Object Oriented Modeling etc. for organizations like; NTPC, IFFCO, KRIBHCO, Airport Authority of India (AAI), TCIL and Bhutan Officials. He is a certified Business Analyst by IBM. He is a prolific writer with multiple research papers to his credit in reputed national and International Journals. He is a true music lover and sportsman at the core.
