Dr. Tapan Kumar Nayak

Prof. (Dr.) Tapan Kumar Nayak, an avid reader, researcher and academician in the field of Economics and currently working as Professor & Dean-Academics at Jaipuria School of Business, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad is having more than 20 years of teaching and research experiences in the field of Economics. Prior to this he has been working as Professor & Dean-Academics at IMS Ghaziabad since 2007.
He has been working at IMS Ghaziabad in various positions such as Professor of Economics, Programme Chairperson-PGDM, Director-in-Charge and Dean-Academics since 2007. He has also worked as Senior Research Analyst in Institute of Economic Growth, University of Delhi Campus prior to his Ph.D. He has completed his Ph.D. Economics from IIT Roorkee.
He has published over 25 research papers in referred national and international journals and has presented over 30 papers in various national and international conferences. Dr. Nayak has conducted and participated in over 60 FDP, MDP, Conclaves, workshops, Webinars, National and International summits in various field of Management and Social Sciences research. He has been part of editorial board of various National and International Journals and is an approve Ph.D. supervisor in the board various private and Government Universities in India.
He has been awarded with Distinguished Academic Leader of the Year-2018, Rastriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar-2017 & Exemplary Academic leader of the Year 2022 by Centre for Education Growth and Research in December, 2017, April 2018 and April 2022 respectively at New Delhi. His areas of Interest are Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Managerial Economics, Business Environment, Econometrics, International Business and Industrial Economics.
